Crossing Channels

During our lives, we sometimes come to a crossroads and need to make a decision as to which way we will go. Our decision affects not only the direction we take but also the people we have to leave and what we need to let go of - even for a while. I am facing such a crossroads, and I've been given the opportunity to pursue a different path in terms of my psychic abilities. After some thought, I've decided to give up channelling readings through this website for the immediate future and take the other path. However, I will honour any requests for readings and appointments I currently have. A month ago, two businessmen I know moved their work place to an old building. The new office space had been renovated and they were delighted with the position and the fact they had more room. All seemed to be fine initially, except one of the businessmen found he couldn't concentrate very well at work and he was feeling a bit down. During the second week in the new office, he became more and more depressed and could do little work at all. My father knew a lot about cars and was forever tinkering with engines and helping neighbours and friends when their cars had problems. This popped into my mind when I was talking to a friend on the phone on the weekend. I had phoned at the wrong time - just as he was going to try to fix the brakes on his ancient 4 wheel drive. I apologised for interrupting him and I said "Oh I wish Dad were here to give you a hand." He laughed and said that that would be nice and we finished the conversation. I decided to tune into my father who had passed away many years ago, but is often there if I need him. As soon as I made contact, my father said "Not the brakes, the clutch, the clutch. Look at the clutch." I called my friend back with this news and he said 'Oh really. That's more serious." Read more.

"Much of what has happened in recent times that seems of concern to the people on the Earthplane, is happening for a reason. For far too long, powerful people have held the purse strings of much of the world's wealth and manipulated it for their own ends. People from many countries have put their faith in governments who have mismanaged their economies and sent them perilously close to ruin. Often in readings, I'm told by my guide to say to the person, "You are at a crossroads" or "You must make a choice"! Their reaction to this is usually to sigh and say, "I wish I didn't have to make a choice. Why don't they just tell me what to do?" and I must admit I have often thought the same. I've also thought that it would be wonderful if we were born with a little "How to ...." booklet attached to our ankle, to help us with life's big and small decisions as we grew up.  Read more.

Over the weekend, I learned of the death of one of my sons' friends. This young man had come in and out of their lives as they shared a sport they all loved. He was liked by all who knew him, and during his short life, he earned the respect and regard of many, simply by being the person he was. It says much for his character that when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, his mates from near and far, banded together to raise money for his treatments. Sadly, his friends' and family's battle to save his life ended last week and all feel the loss of such a remarkable, caring and wise young man.
